Aaron Kuhl

Aaron Kuhl is a native Phoenician with strong community ties, a diverse background and a history of success.
He is knowledgeable in the markets in which he engages for clients and “out of the box” thinking has produced some of his greatest client results including RED Magazine’s 2011 Redevelopment of the Year and 2012 Healthcare Development of the Year for his client Adelante Healthcare.
Industry changes, STARK law, antitrust statutes and ICD-10s are more than ambiguous concepts to Aaron. With immediate family members on both the business and practicing sides of the medical industry, Aaron has an acute understanding of the changing dynamics of the medical industry.
Having first learned commercial real estate from the private investment firm DMB Associates in the 1990s, Aaron has the unique ability to not only read and comprehend various legal contracts (leases, ground leases, purchase contracts, etc.) but has almost 20 years of experience drafting and negotiating contracts alongside his client’s legal counsel.
The passion of a “startup” and compassion for people was solidified in Aaron through the creation of an in-house property management division of a non-profit housing provider in Chandler, Arizona. His business acumen was shown by increasing NOI by 41% in less than one year and greatly increasing the standard of living for the residents.
Navigating the corporate hierarchy, managing a large team and stretching people to previously unattainable goals was learned as the Senior Marketing Manager and ultimately Director of Marketing for Marriott International. These skills are invaluable in managing the various professional vendors in a typical commercial real estate transaction (architects, contractors, attorneys, cooperating brokers, owners, tenants, etc.).
In 2006, Aaron entered the medical tenant representation industry in Phoenix with his startup company Medical Office Brokers (MOB) and quickly became endorsed by the various medical and dental societies as their preferred vendor. In addition to working on development syndications and investments, he’s been an industry leader for tenant representation and has worked with literally every major medical broker and landlord in the Phoenix market.
In 2013, Aaron and partner Michael began landlord representation and was awarded the leasing assignment for the HCP Investment Portfolio including the Scottsdale healthcare Medical Office Buildings. Aaron and his team continue to advocate for tenants and buyers throughout the Phoenix market.
When not working, Aaron enjoys mountain biking, hiking, golf, going to Cardinal games, skiing, coaching flag football and being an engaged father. He has four children, and lives in Scottsdale.
